Identity theft / Fraud / Embezzlement Florida
In -/-/-, I received a bill from Macy 's for over $700.00. I reported that I had not made these charges. Macy 's closed the account, informed me they would investigate the fraud, and issued me a new credit card. Within - weeks, additional fraudulent charges were made to this new card, in excess of $1000.00. I reported this as fraud to Macy 's and told them to eliminate my information from their databases and NOT SEND ME any additional cards. Macy 's promised to investigate both incidents of fraud. I sent as you will see from the attached documents everything they requested, reported each of the fraudulent incidents to the local police. In spite of these fraud investigations, Macy 's had their collections departments calling me and on -/-/2016, reported me as - days late to -. - refused to remove the incorrect 30 day late report for Macy 's had told them it was legitimate even though it was not. I am at a loss as to how to get Macy 's to remove the negative credit report which they should have already done. I therefore am requesting your intervention.
