-/-/2016 I contacted the credit bureau to request validation of the debt they are reporting on my credit report from - - -. I was unfamiliar with the balance due so I requested statements showing my balance due and my failure to pay the alleged debt. I requested a cease of collection activity until that information was furnished. This account was paid in full to the original creditor before entering into collections and I requested the account be closed. In the past I have provided Transunion with copies of my bank statements showing payment of the balance due in full at the time of the account closing. I requested statements from the original creditor to show how the balance came about. The creditor has not sent me any documentation displaying how the balance was accumulated.
