I am a senior citizen and due to a financial hardship have been trying to obtain a loan modification on my mortgage. I started the process with SLS servicing an agent for - - mortgage on - -. I submitted all required documentation. I have made at least ten calls and was told it was submitted to the underwriters. Today - - I was told that I need to resubmit a - page application all over again when it was already submitted on Novemmber -. It seems they are delaying the process for some reason. I am extremely frustrated. I can not get any satisfactory response on the status of my request.
