Amex Credit card department,
To Whom It May Concern : I have had an ongoing issue with American Express dispute resolution. Back in - I purchased - pairs of shoes from - for $1500.00, -. None of the shoes fit, so it was returned right away back to - as described in instructions. The items were sent to : - Returns Service - - - - -, NJ - -. I sent them first time by - ; Mon -/-/2016 Tracking # -. They returned without saying anything. I then thought it was a mistake, sent it back again by - overnight, Wed -/-/2016 Tracking # -. Few weeks later, it was returned again. And one more : Tue -/-/2016 Tracking # -. Then I got the items back, and I contacted American Express via the chat system asking what shall I do - I have useless shoes and the - is playing games. The customer service reassured that they have no problems to resolve such cases, saying " they have no reason to disappoint me ''. I was instructed not to send anything to -, and if anything is needed I will receive further instructions from the dispute department. 20 days later -
were returned/not authentic ''. I then reopened the case, saying it was returned and accepted. So the case was reopened, I got a letter from Amex asking for a proof of return, they got it, wasted another -3 weeks, and denied the case, saying its not my problem. At this point, I have no shoes, I have to pay to American Express, they do n't let me talk to investigator, saying that they are not even in the US and they do n't have phone numbers. To me it looks like American Express has illegal deals with big stores, which results in denial of all claims as long as it is not fraud. American Express suggested to file me a fraud claim if I want to " have a different outcome ''. Please investigate the whole issue, and help me to get the proper resolution in this case. I will be filing more complaints with other agencies and probably social media/news outlets to let others know how American Express is operating. Sincerely, - -
