First Citizens Credit card department,
In -/-/- a fixed APR of 7.99 % was offered to me by the person who opened a credit card for me with First Citizens Bank. I received an activation letter with the credit card enclosed confirming the 7.99 % APR ( letter enclosed ). I transferred a balance to this card. There as been to other transaction on this card since it was opened. There as never been a late payment. The credit card company is now billing me at the rate of 8.24 %. I had - conversations by phone with the credit card company on the morning of -. I was told in both conservations that the credit card company has no record of my rate ever being 7.99 %. A quarter percent here, a quarter percent there, adds up to millions. Think that is why they ca n't find the records?
