Citibank Credit card department,
Identity theft / Fraud / Embezzlement Louisiana
We got home from a trip we found a small box from Macy 's at our door containing a - deodorant for about $29.00. We called the next day to request a return authorization since it was an item I neither used, ordered, or wanted. After 7 requests and as many phone calls I thought it incredulous no one could or would send me an RA ( return authorization ). No one mentioned, nor did I ever receive a statement showing I owned more. After months of waiting I started receiving daily calls from Bloomingdales / Macys credit asking me to pay my bill of around $200.00. Why not the unresolved $29.00 I asked? They did n't know or care to do anything about it except call again every day. Finally some dear soul told me I had another purchase on the account again made on Macy '. online. and with it my current balance was roughly $200.00.
n't filed a claim with their Fraud department. Did n't know you had one - no one 's ever mentioned it to me and I have never been in this situation before.. I have been asking all along if someone used my credit card that it was fraud and I wanted them to cancel it so this would n't get worse. That never happened until the associate that told me what I should have done 5 months ago. They finally closed it 5 months late and are suppose to send me a new one, which will never be used after - that they have put me through. When I looked at it on credit karma I would have thought reading it that they closed it on me and there was no mention of them sending me another card. So it looks like I 'm a bum that does n't pay his bills. If you check you can see where I paid about about - in -/-/- on my dept s - so clearly it was n't that I would n't or could n't have paid them if I had indeed owned them a penny.. Macy 's - customer service is n't something that works. Our family is a - that sticks together and all are refusing to shop Macy 's this - for me - that will cost them a ton over $200.00. Honesty is it 's own reward.Macy 's!
