After the recent news from Wells Fargo I decided to contact them about my experience. I was -, looking for a simple account to put money in from an after school job. Some how I ended up with - bank accounts and a credit card. I did not want these additional services and incurred additional fees because of this. I do not believe I should have ever qualified for a credit card, especially with the limit I had. I was told on the phone with Wells Fargo that unless I was contacted then I was n't part of the affected group. They additionally told me that I would be receiving a letter in the mail to follow up which I never received. The phone representatives acted like they had no clue about what I was calling about and like this was the first time they had heard about this.
