Wells Fargo & Company Credit card department,
In last month, WELLS FARGO send me a pre-qualified letter to invite me applying a credit card. I submitted the apply form online and I was asked whether I 'm a US citizen or a permanent resident or a legally stay foreigner. I 'm a - citizen and I 'm now legally staying in America. I 'm not a permanent resident yet. I chose a legally stay foreigner at that time. A week later I received another letter and asked me to supply a copy of my Social Security Card. I send the copy to WELLS FARGO and about two weeks later I received the decline letter. The only reason they rejected my application was Not a permanent US resident. I think this is not a fair reason, and it seems like somewhat Racial Discrimination. Actually I already have credit cards of -, -, - - -, etc. No other banks concern about my citizenship. A credit card is not so important to me, but I think this kind of behavior should not happen in this country. If legally foreigners are not welcomed by WELLS FARGO, they should dare to let me know directly at the beginning of the application and not waste my time.
