Unsolicited issuance of credit card Connecticut
Received notice of account closure on -/-/2016 from - due to inactivity. Called to inquire and was informed that if new application was submitted and approved the - reward points lost would be reinstated. Card was approved however points were not reinstated. Contacted - at Citibank 's - offices ( direct line - ) who confirmed recorded conversation promising reinstatement of reward points for credit card application. Was informed that decision was made not to reinstate. Consider this an unethical sales practice.
