Citibank Credit Card Complaint

Other fee

Citibank Credit card department,

Other fee California

I have a Macy 's credit card, which I rarely use. As of -/-/2016, I had a $0.00 balance and have not made any purchases on the card after that point. Earlier this week, I tried to make a purchase on my Macy 's credit card but was told by the store clerk that my card had been declined. When I got home, I logged onto my online Macy 's credit card account to figure out why my card had been declined. I discovered that Macy 's had been charging me a " $2.00 minimum interest charge '' on a monthly basis since -/-/2016, and that, as a result, I had a $6.00 past due balance. I ran some searches online and it appears that this has been happening to many other people who have a $0.00 balance on ( and do not regularly use - their Macy 's credit cards. I sent a message to customer service, since it 's almost impossible to get anyone on the phone. I asked customer service to ( - ) explain the charge and ( - ) remove the $6.00 from my account. I have not yet heard back. I believe this is credit card fraud.
