I moved to US in -/-/- under -. I have secured credit card with WF, - branch, - -. I applied for unsecured Credit card in -/-/- and received a letter to submit copy of my SSN, which I did promptly. -/-/- I received communication from - citing that my credit card has been rejected because I am not a US resident. No one told me this when I applied at the branch. they pulled my hard credit. There is no where mentioned on WF site that they dont issue credit cards to NON US residents. Its pure discrimination. i have credit cards and from other banks and departmental stores. I maintain healthy credit profile and have invested from my own resources in US in past one year. I dont have any problem on rejection from WF but the discriminatory attitude from the bank. Now i have closed my secured credit card account for - USD with WF and they dont want to return my money for 60 days. i have no out standings in my account. I have written at the highest level but same replies.
