Citibank Credit card department,
I contacted Citibank on various occasions asking them to verify the debt they claim I owe and disputing the amount due. I also asked that they honor the repayment plan they made with me but they closed the account before I was able to send a payment. I wrote to them on all these occasions and received no response back, ever. In fact, several months passed and still no replies. I advised my credit bureau of these efforts and they refused to remove it from my credit report even though I provided them with records ( registers/certified mail ) and copies of the communications. Only then did Citibank respond to the letter.
