I am writing in regards to how Citibank reported me as past due and did not even bother to contact me through any of their customer contact channels. I had to find out when my card was declined at a merchant. I opened this new account because Citibank hounded me to open an additional account as they took over the - - partnership. After 6 months of solicitations, I chose to do so and apply - and within 3 months they made an error and reported me past due. I am very frustrated as I have had a relationship with Citibank since 2000 and have NEVER been past due on any accounts. I am very concerned as this will impact my credit score and impact my ability to refinance my mortgage and apply for student loans for my children as they starting college soon.
