Communication tactics threatened to take legal action
Wells Fargo & Company Debt collection department,
I do not know Communication tactics Threatened to take legal action Tennessee
Calls to both my cell and home phones from a Missouri number, ( - ) -. A recording threatened to serve papers on me at my place of employment. I called them a total of 31 times trying to get information piecemeal before the different agents hung up on me. They called their company " - '' and I could hear other collectors in the background following the same script as the one I was speaking to, verbatim. They mentioned Wachovia, with which I have not had an account since 2007. Each time ( at least 15 ) that I asked what type of account and the court jurisdiction where the action was being filed, they told me I was rude, or I was lazy and could n't take care of my debts, once even that I 'm not a good -. They never would, or could, answer my questions. I do n't believe I owe Wachovia, now Wells Fargo, anything. IF I ever did, it 's way beyond statute now. If I truly do legally owe them anything, I will happily pay it. - is either a phishing scam, or a sweatshop debt collector trying to extort money on legally unenforceable debts.
