Medical Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine Arkansas

The collector is harrassing me over a debt that is not mine, although I did recieve services from - they did not send the bill to my insurance company within the alloted time frame and now are after me for collections.I have had the same employer for 17 years and before this dispute my insurance had paid for their services 4 times prior to this.I have a name of the person at - who did not file the claim right.I contacted my insurance carrier and they said that they were never billed for the services at quest diagnostics on this occasion.I have tried numerous times to explain to these people but they will not listen to me, I even went as far as getting a rep from - - - - talk to quest and informed them that the statue of limitations ran out on their bill so because of - diagnostics mistake they have messed my credit up and have really cost me as far as loans go, is there legal action that I can take against the collector? -
