Citibank Credit card department,
I obtained a Best Buy Credit Card administered by Citibank. I signed up for paperless billing. I have faithfully made the payments on time. For the -/-/- statement I submitted payment and it was posted by Citibank on -/-/- in the amount of $110.00 which exceeded the minimum payment. It was received and posted by Citibank prior to the -/-/- payment due date. I proceeded to get multiple past due notices, dunning phone calls and in the end a past due charge. When I contacted the company, their position was that my payment was too prompt so it was not applied to my -/-/- statement. This is not a late fee, it is an early fee. None of the customer service representatives were able to correct this issue.
