Back in -/-/2016 I did not receive my credit card statement from Citibank in a timely Matter. By the time I was notified the account was over 31 days past due. I made payment as soon as I was notified. I have never missed payment on anything ever in my life. I called and spoke with someone in -/-/- because I am applying for a mortgage and explained what happened. That person assured me that the account would be updated and they would remove late from my credit report. I called back and spoke with - other people was explained the same thing it would be removed. So I paid for a rate lock extension of $3000.00 only to get a letter several days later saying no they are not going to remove it. They committed to something which they have recorded on tape and now wo n't stick to it costing me extra money.
