E-CESSIVE and ABUSIVE FEES : We are customers of Bank of America and made a - purchase yesterday at -. We did n't have much of a balance in the account in the first place as it 's not our primary checking account. That said, we forgot to enter the transaction in our register last night, which caused our account to go into the negative -. We would have gladly taken care of the issue this morning after checking our online accounts and when we did, realized that Bank of America charged us a $35.00 NSF for a - negative. I called and they refused to reverse the fee. Once I advised that I would be filing this complaint, I was escalated to a supervisor. I waiting an additional 20 minutes on-hold and was finally told they would not reverse the fee. I should also point out that Bank of America has excessive hold times when calling in, as they have failed to hire sufficient staff, to serve it 's customers.
