Citibank Credit card department,
I was looking at " pending transactions '' on my smart phone and web browser and noticed that a transaction from - -, for a hotel stay, was still in pending status. I contacted the general number, and wanted more information regarding why it was still pending. The representative and I discussed the pending transactions but the pending transaction for - was not on the company 's list. Meaning on all of my devices I see the " pending charge '' for $100.00 for - - -, but this is not on Citi 's system. During our conversation, the rep also mentioned a " pending charge '' from Best Buy for around $700.00 which is not on my list of " pending charges ''. I am greatly confused regarding the difference between what consumers see as " pending charges '' versus what Citi sees as " pending charges ''. This also brings confusion to what actually my current balance and available credit limits are.
