My name is - - - and I have a Macy 's Credit card reward joint with my husband - - -. I would like to file a complaint against Macy 's for unfair credit discrimination and retaliation.I had filed a complaint against Macy 's before regarding almost same issues but ever since I filed the complaint, Macy 's has been retaliating against us numerous times for no reason. We feel that we are being attacked by Macy 's lately. Every time I call they continue to ask my husband information to verify the account after I provided them with my information and I explained to them that I am a card holder not an authorized user. They drop our credit limit - to 4 times in less than a year. My Daugther has a Macy 's credit card and they drop her credit limit once in 1 year and she pays her bill every other month. I recently contacted Macy 's and requested our bill to be send in the mail because I have a problem signing up online and until this date they have yet to do so. The law provides protections when we deal with any organizations or people who regularly extend credit. If I am responsible to pay the bill, why they do n't increase or decrease our credit limit based also on my credit score. My husband is a victim of I identity theft and is taking a long time to fix it. I have contacted the corporate office numerous times and they never return my phone call but my husband calls who 's - and a - they intermediately return his phone calls. Macy 's has been violating the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. Our account is open since 1996 and Macy 's does n't take that into consideration.
