I purchased a product through Ebay some time in - of 2015. At the time from what I could tell I paid with Paypal. I called paypal a couple of weeks later to mention that I did not see the charge on my account. They said that they could not see it either, I called 5 times to confirm and they continued to tell me that there was no charge but I received the merchandise. It turns out the charge went to billmelater which is now called paypal credit. I was never told of this change. It kept getting notices from paypal that the bill was late but when I logged on the account was fine, no late charge. I think sometime before I made the purchase I remember calling a number that was shown on ebay to extend the period of the credit line. This phone number later I found out was billmelater or paypal credit, I had completely forgotten about the call because that is what paypal credit used to call me, in not so many words, a liar. They waited to the six months expired to charge me for the interest on the purchase and to contact me. Never mind that I called paypal several times and my account is practically in zero balance. No they said there is not they could do, they closed the account and told that if I wanted to pay I need to contact them every month.
