Citibank Credit card department,
I opened a Sears MasterCard over the - while shopping at Sears. I made one time purchase only in the amount of $340.00 on -/-/16 and paid balance in full -/-/2016. I closed the account in -/-/2016, never use same account for any other purchase, did not even activated my Sears MasterCard when it arrived. However, multiple unauthorized transactions showed on my Sears MasterCard statement after the account was closed. I called Sears MasterCard at least four time during past several months ( -/-/2016, -/-/2016, -/-/2016 and -/-/2016 ) to clarify the fact that my account was closed, none of the transaction was authorized by me. I was told every time on the phone, they will dispute the transaction and credit back full charges on my closed account. but months afterward, instead of credit back my account, I still have overdue on the account and affected my credit score significantly ( I was - in
I am extremely disappointed with Sears MasterCard by Citi. Feel like 1 ) my personal information leaked out during credit card application, which later on lead to credit card fraud. 2 ) citi card / Sears MasterCard allowed fraud happen repetitively on a already close account 3 ) custom service system is a total disaster, completely disconnected : no record for prior customer phone call, no following phone call on already problemed account, not even answering phone call eventually ... I am requesting a fair and final response from Citi Cards / Sears MasterCard.
