Citibank Credit card department,
I have a Citi Dividend card and a City Thank You card. They both provide rewards points. Shockingly, despite promising rewards points, Citi Cards actually cancels all those points, effectively stealing them from their customers, after only a year. The catch they have created is that you must accumulate a minimum of $50.00 in order to be able to cash them out. Unfortunately, I can not spend enough to accumulate $50.00 in rewards points in less than a year. So, Citi Bank effectively steals the money they supposedly rewarded me with after only a year. This is in effect false advertising, because these are no rewards points ; these are temporary incentive points to try to force you to spend more. And if you do n't, the bank simply steals the rewards they claim to have rewarded you with. I am not aware of any other credit card provider that have the same catch-22 policies to cheat their customers out of their rewards points.
