Citibank Credit card department,
Customer service / Customer relations Texas
I have been receiving notices from Macy 's via email since - concerning a credit card statement. I have repeatedly notified them that I do not have a credit card with this company nor have I ever had one with them. I did have an online shopping account. In -/-/2016 I started receiving late payment notices concerning a credit card payment via email from Macy 's. I once again contacted the company via email and phone that I did not have a credit card and after all this I will never get a credit card from them. I did log into my online shopping account and noticed - credit cards were listed on the account, none of them were mine. I notified Macy 's customer service who after a couple of months did close my online shopping account but that did not resolve the problem of me receiving the credit card statement notifications. I also requested that any reference to my email account be removed from their database, but that is obviously too difficult of a task for them to complete. I have now filed a formal complaint with the FTC and with the CFPB.
