Citibank Credit card department,
On - -, 2016, I used a Citibank Best Buy credit card. The Best Buy first purchase offer was 10 % in reward points for the purchase. I only received 5 % in rewards points. I was told that the item I tried to purchase was n't available for purchase in the store. It was only available online. However, when I tried to buy it online ( $990.00 ) my $1000.00 credit limit was insufficient due to sales tax. I was denied the $49.00 credit limit increase. I was also not advised that I could simply apply $49.00 in gift cards - then use the credit card. I was speaking with - with Best Buy today and he referred me to a supervisor, - who gave no date on resolution -Case ID # -
