Equifax Credit Reporting Complaint

Unable to get credit report/credit score problem getting report or credit score

Equifax Credit reporting department,

Unable to get credit report/credit score Problem getting report or credit score Michigan

I contacted Equifax about items that were removed from my credit report and inadvertently placed back on there by the office of consumer affairs. I spoke to several reps and supervisors to have a security/fraud freeze removed from my credit report because it 's violating the FCRA law by preventing me access to my credit score and report. I was told by a rep in the office of consumer affairs that this was done to protect my file, however, I asked for it to be removed because I did not ask for it to be placed on My credit file and there 's no suspicion of fraud. Equifax is refusing to remove this freeze and allow me to access my own credit file/score online. Someone internally in the office of consumer affairs did this purposely. This was previously reported to Cfpb.
