Unsolicited issuance of credit card Ohio
Synchrony Bank has issued a credit card that resulted in hard inquiry into my credit record and subsequent reduction in my credit score, without my prior permission or authorization. I have never requested a new card and would have refused to have it issued had I known in advance. However no one ever asked. The Synchrony Bank just went ahead and did this on their own volition. The card does n't provide an option for the activation, nor does it provide a valid contact number. The number listed can not be reached, this bank is not - member, and there is no way to contact them. Furthermore, I have never received any terms of using this card. Bottom line, I want this card canceled, I vigorously object to have my credit checked without my permission, and I do n't want to ever have this card, period!!!! I am very disappointed, I have worked hard to get my credit score to over - and now it has taken a dip, thanks to the Synchrony bank. I deeply dislike this kind of practices. I DO N'T WANT TO EVER HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS INSTITUTION!!!
