I received an alert from my credit monitoring system that I had new changes. When I reviewed, there were - new collections, dated - from Midwest Recovery for - - for - and - - for -. I then contacted Midwest Recovery because I have NO knowledge of these debts. They informed me that they were payday loans take under my SSN through my personal email on -/-/- and -/-/- respectively and in my former name. I did not take out these accounts and have n't used my former name since -. I also do not hold a bank account with the bank that the funds were deposited into and never have ( - ). I was told to file a fraud report with my local police department and have but they will not remove the items from my credit report and they do not belong to me. I went to the FTC website to learn what I needed to do about the fraud and it directed me here.
