Wells Fargo & Company Credit card department,
Hi, My son got a credit card from Wells Fargo and he was not - and per the law does n't he need a parent to co sign of the credit card? He was issued a card at - and did not have a parent co sign on the card. He is in debt $1700.00. A law was passed in 2009 aiming to protect consumers from mistreatment by credit card companies. The law included the following provisions : 1 ) card companies may not change interest rates unless a payment is late or the card has a variable rate, 2 ) credit card bills must be delivered at least 21 days before their due dates, 3 ) adults must co-sign on accounts for someone under - - -, and 4 ) credit card contracts must be posted on-line. See # - I am outraged with Wells Fargo preying on children that are not - giving them a credit card!!!!!! Sincerely - -
