I 've been calling them for over a week to get information on my application status. They 're customer service department is rude and unprofessional. I had to have my issues taken all the way to the top level of customer service and no real effort to try to keep a dissatisfied customer happy was made. I was highly referred to Citibank by a longtime customer. I have n't asked for any type of monetary compensation for the hours I 've spent on the phone with them, nor am I looking for any. I 've asked for my account to be closed in a timely manner and my deposit to be refunded in a timely manner or my card to be overnighted. They were unwilling to fill either request.
