I had an outstanding balance with - - in the amount of $750.00 with an original - account # -. I had been receiving collection letters from Stellar Recovery, and eventually I paid this account through a settlement on - -, 2016 in the amount of $220.00. I have received a settlement letter from Stellar Recovery on - -, 2016 and the account has still not been removed from my - credit bureau as of today. It is actually showing up on my bureau as I opened the account on - -, 2016 and is showing a negative balance and it being late last reported - -, 2016 with a negative balance of $520.00. I am trying to purchase a home and my FICO recently went down - points this month and my credit report is showing an active collection. I have tried calling Stellar Recovery and keep getting the run around every time I call them and can never speak directly to a collections manager.
