I called and spoke with an agent and then a manager asking to have my hard inquires removed. I have writte letters to each of the companies and have not received a response of validating or a letter of having the inquires removed. They are currently being showed on my credit report. The FCRA states that the only permissible purpose for pulling someone 's credit report is a ) firm offer of credit b ) insurance c ) employment or d ) a court order. The following credit inquiries are related to none of the aforementioned permissible purposes : 1. - - 2. - 3. - 4. - 5. - 6. - Please remove these inquiries from my credit report immediately. I have enclosed a copy of my driver 's license as proof of identity.
