Citibank Credit card department,
Identity theft / Fraud / Embezzlement Texas
On -/-/16, I received an e-mail indicating a potentially fraudulent charge to my Citi credit card. I called on -/-/16 to tell them the charge was fraudulent. In addition, there was another fraudulent charge. They stated that they would need to close this card and issue a new -. I am traveling and need this card to charge expenses. I asked them to overnight a new card to the hotel I would be staying at and that I needed to charge an airline ticket for work. They put me on hold for 30 minutes to get a Supervisor. If they are this under staffed in the fraud department maybe the CFPB should examine their procedures and response times. Is fraud something the people should put with and the government and banks are above the law? These banks, credit card companies and the government is nothing but a crime syndicate.
