On - -, 2016 I enlisted the help of - - - to help me get out of debt. I have a loan with BB & T that was at the time $2300.00. The proposal was that BB & T drop my interest rate to 5 % and my payments to be $50.00 a month. Since -/-/-, BB & T has taken my payments claimed numerous times that they have never gotten the proposal. I 've also been charged late fees and finance charges even though they 've been paid in full and on time. I 've been trying for months now to get BB & T to work with me, but all they will tell my third party company is that they are n't receiving any notification from either party which is absurd. According to my third party company, my loan amount should reflect $2200.00. It does not. With all the charges the loan is $2200.00. I rather BB & T reject my offer than play dumb and claim no one has heard anything about the issue. Since -/-/- I 've been charge a $10.00 late fee 3 times and a finance charge of $32.00, $37.00, $32.00, $34.00, and $36.00. How can they expect me to pay off my loan if I keep being wrongfully charged and ignored? I 'm paying them and yet they want to send me to collections, wo n't stop calling me daily to the point I 've had to block the number. Meanwhile my credit score is plummeting.
