Citibank Credit card department,
Customer service / Customer relations North Carolina
I was a member of Costco. I did not need their service and let the membership expire at the end of the first year. Near the end of my membership, Costco switched from - - to Citi -. I received a card in the mail without asking for it. I did not want the card. I called Costco and told them I was not renewing my membership and that I did not want the card. Costco said I would have to call Citi. I did, and told them I did not want the card ( which I had destroyed ). I later received a bill from Citi. I called Citi and told them that I had not activated the card and did not want it. I told them to reverse the charges on the card - which includes a $37.00 late fee. I returned the billing stub with the same request. Soon after I began receiving calls at my office asking me to check my online account. These calls come nearly every day. I recently received another bill from Citi. I do not understand ( except in the light of the issues at - - ) why they will not close the account and move on. This is harassment and I have no intent to pay.
