Closing/Cancelling account Indiana
On -/-/- I sent a payment of $1700.00 to Wells Fargo on a - department credit card with a balance o $1500.00. I sent more to cover any additional financial charges to pay this account off. On -/-/- Wells Fargo applied the payment to my card leaving $130.00, I called on -/-/- to confirm when I would receive my credit back and was told at that time I would receive in 2-4 week. On -/-/- I call to confirm payment was received, and that I had a credit of $130.00. I was told that I should receive the check by -/-/-. I called a 3rd time and told them I had not received my check on -/-/-. I received my billing statement around -/-/- that showed they had applied the $1700.00 and I had a credit of $130.00 refunded on -/-/-. Again I was told I should receive the refund by -/-/- ( Different date than -/-/- ). My 4th call on -/-/- I told them I had not received my check, Wells Fargo responded it would be by -/-/-, yet again different date. We are now one month from the time they applied my payment on -/-/-. 5th call
30 days to receive my credit. The gave me a case number -. On - ( 40 days from applying my payment ) I called - - at - - - - Ext -, three times and my calls went straight to her voice mail. She has not returned my call, Well Fargo has had 3 business days to research why and tell when I will receive my refund and I have not heard any thing back from them. I have attached my last billing statement to show when the credit was applied and when they said they refunded my money however they can not product any documentation showing a check has been chased or if they even mailed the check. I 've waited 40 days for this and was counting on that refund to help pay off another debit. I have gotten no where with Wells Fargo, I keep getting bounced from one rep to another or my call to - - are not being returned. In light of what Wells Fargo has done to other customers in the news, I want my money back so I can close out my account and leave this company. I need someone to help me. - - -
