I use - - on-line banking to pay my bills. - of the payees is for a Citi - ending in -. In the last several weeks, I requested - - to obtain e-billing from Citi for this credit card. This request apparently allowed Citi access to my on-line banking account. When I checked my on-line banking account on -, I discovered that the information regarding card ... - was missing, and it had been replaced with another Citi - ending in ... -. In addition, all summary information ( monthly payment info ) for card ... - was now missing. However, the summary info for card ... - now contained the information that would have been correct for card ... -. I should stress that I am receiving billing statements from Citi only for card ... -. I have never applied for or authorized card ... -. It is my belief that card ... - is a ghost card account opened by Citi without my permission or knowledge, similar to that which - - was recently investigated for. I have contacted Citi requesting all applications or other paperwork regarding card ... -. The request to Citi contained the complete card number for ... -.
