Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
This is related to Paypal credit, In 2013, I signed up for Paypal credit and used it to shop online. My paypal account is connected to my bank account, and in the first few months the credit balance was automatically charged out of my bank account. However, it seems that they changed this setting along the way without my permission. So I was shopping online while my credit bills were not paid, and they did not send me any emails about this. I had a $500.00 credit there and used about $200.00 of it, thinking all the time that bills are automatically drawn from my bank account. Then after a few months I get a letter from a collection agency. Turn out that Paypal ( or their partner, synchrony bank ) charged me about $40.00 for late fees each month, and then charged off the whole balance ( $200.00 spending + $300.00 late fees ) and sold it to a collection agency, which hugely affected my credit score. I ask you to please look into this, and let me know how I can get rid of this debt. ( I have no problem re-paying the $200.00 that I actually spent )
