I discovered this collection account after it was already sent to collections. I never received an initial letter of my right to dispute. I immediately faxed a dispute letter to the creditor and they have not contacted me and continue to report on my credit. I have no knowledge of this account and request proof of the following : ( 1 ) the amount of the debt ; ( 2 ) the name of the creditor to whom the debt is owed ; ( 3 ) Provide a verification or copy of any judgment ( if applicable ) ; ( 4 ) Proof that you are licensed to collect debts in California ; ( 5 ) Please evidence proof of the alleged debt, including specifically the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature. ( 6 ) Please provide a complete account history, including any charges added for collection activity. ( 7 ) What is your authorization of law for your collection of this alleged debt? ( 8 ) Please evidence your authorization to do business or operate in this state. Thank you.
