Citibank Credit card department,
This morning my mother found out that Citicard had switched her to paperless statements without notifying her or asking for authorization. I 'm pretty sure this is illegal but even if it 's not it 's an abuse of the system. My mother is probably like many Senior Citizens in that she prefers to receive paper statements. Not receiving one meant that she was charged a $53.00 late fee on top of her minimum payment. The good news is that when she spoke to a representative they told her they 'll credit the late fee to her next bill ; my concern is that more people need to be aware of this potentially happening to them and ruining their credit rating. At the very least.
