This is the letter I sent to Senator - and - Senator -, thank you for investigating Wells Fargo. My issue is that in 2007, Wells Fargo issued a debit card in my name and sent it to a address did not reside at anymore. I retired -/-/2007 from the CID IRS. I was not living in the state when they sent this unauthorized card. I had moved to a house I purchased in -. During this time frame I wanted to refinance my house in - in order to get a better rate. I was denied and told that I owed Wells Fargo money I had not paid back. I contacted Wells Fargo and gave them my new address and phone number. I instructed them as to how to find out who used this card and sent an affidavit stating I had never ask for or received this card. They then started to call and threaten me to the tune of over 600 calls. This lasted for over 2 years. They then sold this debt to a collection agency in - and it started all over again. I could not get refinancing for my house in - and -.


apply for some of this fine for the actions they took against me and the fact that they destroyed my credit during this entire time frame. I have just now gotten a credit score that allows me to finance my current home. I would appreciate you help in this matter as I have contacted our state senator with no help. Can I fill out forms to receive some of the money back that I incurred for relating to all of this illegal activity and the ruining of my credit. The credit agencies would not help at all. Please continue to get the big brass removed or prosecuted. Thank you for all that you have been doing.
