This complaint is about Citibank/Home Depot credit card. I always pay this card on-line through my checking account. On -/-/- ( or there abouts ) at - I submitted a payment on line, only to realize I had used the wrong ( old ) bank account info, which did not have the funds to pay the check. I immediately called, the person at Citibank said they could do nothing because it was after -. I traveled to the nearest Home Depot that evening, paid my payment in cash. I called again the next day, the person helping me said nothing could be done, they had no procedure to withdraw a payment. When the check was returned 3x and I was charged a large fee each time, I called them again and was told they would continue to submit the check, they had no way to stop any payments. I was able to put a stop payment on at the bank, so nothing further was paid. The fees I had to pay to the bank nearly equaled my monthly payment ...
