Unsolicited issuance of credit card California
Several months ago I received an unsolicited credit card from Citibank. I NEVER activated the card.I went to COstco to pay my fee by another means and was told I could n't becasue Citibank had already billed me. I cancelled my Citibank card but was never able to get the charges removed. They also charged me a late fee and interest even though I had cancelled my card before the payment was due. Citibank took the extra charges off my account but i was still forced to pay the annual Costco fee before I was able to close the Citibank account. I live in California and thought that consumer protection in this state was having to activate I
