Citi closed my credit card and asked me to pay the remaining balance on the card. I did not receive any of the statements after the card was closed, and my access to online statements and online bill pay was blocked by Citi. When I called in, I was given no information on my account, and was told that I would receive a call back from a supervisor to discuss the issue within 1-2 days. I never got that call back. I was charged late fees and interest totalling $50.00, which I refuse to pay. I was told that I have to pay these fees because the statement was sent. Bottom line is, I did not receive any letters, statements, emails, notifications, texts, or communications of any kind after my account was closed. I was told by Citi that in order to get the fees removed, I would have to write a letter to the President. This is ridiculous and extremely disrespectful of my time.
