While overseas during the month of - and - 2016 and had prepared to use my ATM card held at WF and had successfully made withdraws, such as on -/-/16. Some days later, -/-/16 I went to the same location and attempted to withdraw funds and was given an error message. I went to another ATM ( different Bank ) and got the same error. I then call WF customer service and confirm that funds was available and told her of the error message, to which she suggest that I make sure I select SV. I agreed and told her that I have made successful withdraw before and well aware of options.I tried - other ATMs and still received same error message and placed - more calls to WF, where I was treated with disrespect and horrible customer service. At no time did the agents tried to resolve issue, but instead stress that the account is not being linked. Frustrated on the last call the agent was so rude I asked for a supervisor to which he told me NO! I was left cashless, hungry and embarrassed because I had not funds to pay for a surprise cake for my mothers birthday. On top of this I was hit with numerous fees ( multiple in - day ) as " excessive ''.
