I use - for most of my health-related issues and they send me out to - hospital for anything test or -. The bill comes to me then I take it to - - for reconciliation. - has me on a scale where I pay a certain amount for each visit, they determine if a bill is cleared completely or a few more I will pay while they clear the rest. Usually, I will follow-up which I did then they give me a clearance. I followed all these steps and got the clearance over the phone that my balance is -. Over a year later, I was going through a program to purchase something when they sent me a letter that something on my record is limiting them from proceeding. I was provided this number and I called. It was " COLLECTION AGENCY ''. I was shocked to hear about my hospital visit that was split into - payments and I should set up a plan to pay. I tried to explain that I was given all clear but the
I then ran to - to replay this conversation I just had with - ; according to the young lady I met, the guy that worked with me no longer works with them but the record they had on me was over a year prior to this bill with a - balance. I further explained it 's strange since the letter I used for the procedure was given to me by the doctor there and faxed to - from there. She went ahead to ask how I knew I was owed since they had nothing like that and I mentioned collection agency. She rose up to say that once things get there that they can not do anything. She could n't even see the lapse from their path even though she agreed the process I mentioned earlier were the correct steps in handling their bills. We could n't resolve this either. Right now, I understand the bill is about $ - and I ca n't afford that let alone the bill I had no clue about. If I had seen the note from collection like they claimed, I would have still taken it back to - but I got none. It was in the process that I told them to update my address since I had moved from where they claimed they sent me a notice. So I do n't know what to do at this point. I went back to the program expert who mentioned this discovery and was told to go online to this site and explain. Hoping to resolve this mystery completely soon.
