I have a lot of experience with promotional interest rates and leverage these when possible. Wells Fargo 's credit card statement is extremely confusing and it was unclear how much needed to be paid and when to avoid interest rate. I had - different promotional balances and the " warning '' that - were expiring is on page - within - of - boxes of information in regular font and very easily missed. As soon as I noticed I was incurring interest, I called. Even with the bills in front of me and them walking me through each piece, it is confusing when you have multiple promotions. There should be something on page - near where your payment information is to highlight what is needed - full payment of the promotional amounts PLUS the minimum payment. I asked for consideration for the interest that was accrued in the 45 days it took me to notice this error and was not accommodated. I have exceptional credit and this credit card and a mortgage with Wells Fargo. I have never been this confused by promotional periods and have personal policy not to incur interest outside my mortgage. It feels like Wells Fargo does this intentionally to trip up customers and get the interest payments.
