- collection companies claim that we owe them a small amount but will not provide supporting documentation. The name on the collection letter is similar to ours, but that name was actually used by someone infringing on our trademark several years ago. For the past 2 months, we have received collection letters from different agencies and same account number. I have requested supporting documentation ( email and written ) in both cases but have not received a reply.
