I wanted to alert you that the Debt Buyer, Pressler and Pressler LLP, continue to engage in practices that are forbidden per -. My wife and I have had an on-going legal battle with them over a $300.00 bill from an - office. My wife and I were not married at the time and I fear that Pressler and Pressler bought this debt for pennies on the dollar and then moved forward with a lawsuit suspecting that a single mother would n't have the time, fortitude, or knowledge to fight back. Relevant but not central to this complaint is that my wife never actually owed the debt, it was a mixup with the health insurance companies at the time of her service. Pressler and Pressler has already levied over $300.00 out of her account and we have an upcoming case in Superior Court. I have confidence that the court will see the proper path forward at that time, but I did want to let you know about these on-going practices.
