Citibank Credit card department,
-/-/-/-/-/2016 Costco switched its credit card provider from - - to Citibank. As a - member with a Costco - -, my credit card balance was transferred to a Citibank Visa card, and a Citibank Visa card account was opened in my name, without my authorization. I was not informed of the balance transfer until approximately two months after the change took effect. I was charged interest on an outstanding balance and a late payment fee. I requested a statement from Citibank to that I could see the itemized charges and dispute the late fees and interest charges since I was never informed of the change and therefore was completely unaware of the outstanding balance. Citibank never sent me a statement. Instead, they have called me 3-5 times a day, every day, during the night and during the day. Often at inconvenient times. I 've paid the outstanding balance in order to stop the constant harassment, but I 'd like to file a complaint to convey my frustration with this entire situation.
